With countless semis traversing the country every year, it’s important to Veltri and our customers that we’re aware of our adverse impact and what we can do to move things in a better direction. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with SmartWay.
In their words, the EPA’s SmartWay program helps companies advance supply chain sustainability by measuring, benchmarking and improving freight transportation efficiency. In this post, we’ll talk about what that looks like and why it’s great for both us at Veltri and all of our clients.

SmartWay is made up of three facets.
The SmartWay transport partnership streamlines the process by which freight shippers and carriers measure and improve their operations as far as the environment is concerned.
The SmartWay brand enables EPA to promote fuel saving technologies that decrease the toll on both the environment and partner companies’ bottom lines.
Finally, SmartWay Global Collaboration refers to EPA’s partnership with a wide array of national and global organizations to coordinate and make more efficient sustainability efforts in the freight sector. It also backs policy makers who are looking to SmartWay for sustainability program inspiration.
GOING GREEN
A SmartWay partnership is a stamp of approval from EPA which says this company is working on reducing their environmental footprint.
The takeaway here is that we’re all responsible for the health of the planet and everything that calls it home.
